Do we really offer the Highest Quality?
Yes we do! As experts in our field we only use brands such as Laticrete for all coating procedures. They have demonstrated their use in the field for 60 years plus and have been used in over 240 BILLION Square Feet of floor installations worldwide. We are certified Laticrete installers which means they will cover labor and materials in the event of any failures. This makes it easier than ever to meet the needs of our clients. We feel the extra price we pay for a decent product and expert customer service translates well into the happiness of all parties involved.
How do we know we are Affordable?
Often times we end up spending around 60% of a garage floor budget on epoxy and other coating materials alone, we will never mark up our services unnecessarily and pass it down to the client. Unless there have been changes to market values our pricing is competitive and here to stay. We also offer pricing discounts to extended customer relationships and contractors.
Why should you watch out for DIY Garage Floor Kits ( Do It Yourself Kits )
By the time you factor in time for research clean up, recoat / cure times and random trips to the hardware store you may not exactly save money doing the job yourself. Any garage floor coating that has a 2, 5 or 10 year lifespan is going to cost you more over time than our commercial grade 100% Solids Epoxy and Polyaspartic Systems. When you work with us you are backed by our 15 Year Peeling Warranty, so you can rest assured your garage floor is going to be safe and sound 15, 25, Even 50 Years Later! Forget about doing all that work yourself 4 or 5 Times, get it done right the first time by our expert garage floor installation technicians!
Concrete Needs to be Prepared Properly
If considering DIY never acid wash or etch your concrete floor to prepare for coating, this will cause the surface beneath the coating to crumble over time where there is heavy traffic or impact, peeling or delamination will occur in these situations every time. It’s also bad for your health. What’s left? Sanding the surface right? Unfortunately sanders are not abrasive enough for a high performance epoxy floor coating. Grinding and shot blasting are the only methods to ensure a concrete floor has the proper surface profile and strength to accept the epoxy binder. To rent this contractor grade equipment may cost nearly $1,000 for a small job and you still have to get it to your project and back to the rental store. Rental equipment can often times be lacking in maintenance and even lacking the proper tooling for your concrete preparation needs. We have all the right tools for all the right places, only the best in grinding and diamond technology is supported by us. Set your worries to the side, let the experts handle the dirty work.
Beware of the One Day Garage Floor Coating (The Bad and the Ugly)
The two most popular ways to bond flake to your garage floor is with either an epoxy or polyaspartic coating.
Polyapartic: The best modern top coat for heavy traffic applications. Cures great in cold temperatures but due to a quick cure time it does not anchor into the concrete floor as aggressively as the epoxy alternative. They are also at a disadvantage because polyaspartic base coats will not bond to our North West moisturized concrete very well over the course of time.
Epoxy: The best modern top coat for heavy traffic applications. Cures great in cold temperatures but due to a quick cure time it does not anchor into the concrete floor as aggressively as the epoxy alternative. They are also at a disadvantage because polyaspartic base coats will not bond to our North West moisturized concrete very well over the course of time.
